Wayne Alan's Magical Meatless Meals

Bio

Wayne Alan is one of the world's top magician- illusionists and is the only American to ever win the gold medal for grand illusion at the International Olympics of Magic.  He has acted as a consultant for David Copperfield.  He also has performed on national TV, but is best known in the trade show/convention field.  Mr. Alan represents large corporations in their convention exhibits and meetings as a goodwill ambassador and spokesman for their products. 

Wayne has studied at the prestigious L'Academie de Cuisine, the premier culinary school in the nation's capital.  He has also taken cooking classes at Anne Arundel Community College. In addition he has studied under various Annapolis- Washington DC area chefs. Much of his knowledge of cooking has come from books.  His culinary library consists of over 100 new and antique cookbooks that he regularly consults. 

His appearances on national TV have included Entertainment Tonight, MTV, where he magically produced recording and movie star Will Smith, Inside Edition, Good Morning America, ABC, NBC and CBS Network News programs.  He’s also appeared with Oprah Winfrey, Larry King and Maury Povich as well as eight times at the White House, most recently for President Bush.  He serves on the board of Smoke Free Maryland.  Mr. Alan is the founder of SmokeFree Entertainers.com and RepublicanEntertainers.com.

He is a well-known magic historian and has recreated many of Harry Houdini’s famous escapes.  He is currently writing a new book about Houdini.  He has written two books for magicians and is a respected investigator in the field of psychic phenomena.
